We’ve spoken to quite a few people over the last couple of months about companies coming in with a cheap
quote and then doing a really poor job.

We’re constantly being called out to replace cheap loft ladders and put right dodgy flooring installations.

I completely understand why people go for the cheapest quote — money is tight and everyone wants to make the most of their space.

All I’m saying is be careful who you allow into your home.

Don’t pay large deposits. On smaller jobs, any reputable company shouldn’t need one.

Do your research, read reviews, and make sure you’re dealing with someone you can trust.
