Free Boiler Grants is still open and working as normal whilst following government guidelines to do so. We have seen an increased work load over the last week and will continue to help all customers old and new to ensure they have access to the highest quality boilers providing heating and hot water in there homes. The way the Grants works and the factors below will determine the amount of grant.

1. The size of the property = how many bedrooms
2. The type of house = semi detached, terrace, bungalow ect
3. Wall construction = Cavity or Solid

If you live in a 4,5,6+ solid wall construction you would qualify for a boiler replacement like for like for FREE.
If you want a conversion from a system to a combi or vice versa the Grant will not cover the cost and therefore a contribution will be required and that will be determined on site survey.
If you live in a 1,2,3 bed solid or cavity on mains gas you will not get a full grant funding to cover the cost of the boiler and installation however the contribution is nowhere near the cost of what it would be to go private. above is for Mains Gas.

If you are on Oil, LPG or Electric Storage Heaters they are Free apart from small properties that have cavity wall these will need a small contribution.
