Some easy morning Sunday content for you !

About two months ago I saw a post on Facebook market place for this 1949 hand cranked singer sewing machine and it arrived yesterday ! (My sister in law picked it up for me from Coventry ) it cost me £20! I couldn’t resist the purchase and fortunately for me I have family that live near Coventry to pick it up.

After a quick clean and searching the memory banks of my youth of how to thread the machine and load the bobbin this morning I was hand cranking the machine to have a good look at the stitches. And I’ve got to say they are perfect !

It’s such a joy to have one of these in the home especially as it was a machine I first learnt to sew on ! Took me right back to my childhood I can’t wait to make my first garment on this beauty ! It needs a name !

Well it’s finally out there ! Myself being responsible for the design of the shirt fabric and with the construction and tweek to the design. looks incredible ! We’re sew sew proud to be part of this especially with mark making a lot of Doctor who cosplay! THIS IS EPIC ! And he’s a huge Whovian too. A huge huge thanks to for getting us involved in this project collaborating with other designers has been a really positive and gratifying experience. Big up the and for the art work it looks amazing.
