As golf’s original major championship, The Open is one of the most prestigious and historic events in world sport, bringing together the game’s greatest players to compete for the iconic Claret Jug on some of the world’s most celebrated links courses.

This year, Royal Birkdale once again takes centre stage as one of the sport’s most revered venues, with its rich championship heritage and unforgettable moments making it a true landmark in the golfing calendar. The England Women vs New Zealand Women ODI series has finished, ending 1-1. 🏏 🤝
Tomorrow, the T20 series starts, and it’s usually a very different feel from ODI cricket.

The main difference is simply the number of overs:
ODI (One Day International) = 50 overs per side
T20 (Twenty20) = 20 overs per side

That changes almost everything about how the game is played.👉

T20 cricket is the shortest international format, with each team batting for 20 overs. It’s fast, aggressive, and usually lasts around three hours, with batters attacking from the start and games often changing quickly through big hits or wickets. Unlike ODIs, there’s far less time to build an innings, so every ball matters more.
