We were formed as the first spin-out from Heriot-Watt University and were the first private company in Britain's first University "Research Park”. Edinburgh Instruments (EI) and it's 120+ employees are now located just outside Edinburgh in Livingston along with offices for our fellow Techcomp Group companies SCION and Techcomp Lab Products. EI products are used in an extensive range of markets and applications, including:
