Have you ever experienced something you just can’t explain? 👻

I’m looking for ghost stories from our community, and I’d love to hear yours.

Maybe something happened in a friend’s house, you’ve had a strange experience in a woodland, or there’s a local ghost story from where you grew up that’s always stayed with you.

Perhaps you’ve felt a visit from a loved one who has passed, bringing comfort rather than fear.

Whatever your story, whether it gave you goosebumps or brought you peace, I’d love to hear what happened.

Share it in the comments below, or if you’d prefer to tell me privately, email [email protected]

Steven, with a V 😊

Card of the day - Maple Spirit

G e n e r o s i t y
Today, Maple Spirit invites you to open your heart to the beautiful energy of generosity.

Generosity comes from the heart. A small act of kindness, a loving word, or a moment of compassion can create ripples of light. Give freely!

“When you give with an open heart, you invite the sweetness of life to flow through you. You are both the giver and the receiver, rooted in love and nourished by the beauty of sharing.”

You lot love reading cups! ☕️ Every time we put one up, it’s one of our most popular posts, so here’s a wee challenge for you.

We’re keeping the owner of this cup a secret until later. You might know them if you’ve been in the shop… or you might not. Feel free to have a guess!

It’s a pretty interesting cup. Have a proper look before reading anyone else’s comments and pay attention to what comes up for you. How do you instinctively feel? What emotions arise?

Who is this person? What’s their personality like? What do they have to offer? And what would you like to say to the owner of this cup?

Tell us any symbols you spot and what they mean to you. There’s no need to be experienced. Just have a go.

The person whose reading the owner feels is most accurate will win a mystery prize 👀🎁

You’ve got until 3pm today. Readings and guesses in the comments below.

Go! 😂

Are there any wonderful accountants in our community? 💛

We’re looking for an accountant to work with The Soul Man Scotland, supporting us with limited company accounts, Corporation Tax returns and ongoing advice as our businesses grow.

Connection matters to us. We’d love to work with someone approachable and supportive who shares our values of kindness, care and community, and who can make the numbers side of business feel a little less daunting.

We’re hoping to speak to someone over the next few days, so if that sounds like you, please email Steven at [email protected] with a little about yourself and the support you offer.

And if you know an accountant who would be a lovely fit, we’d be so grateful if you could tag them below.

Happy birthday to our wonderful Gemma! 🎂💜

Gemma is one of the unsung heroes of The Soul Man Scotland. For the last few years, she’s been our digital marketing assistant, although we’re never quite sure what to call her role because that title doesn’t cover half of what she does!

Gemma keeps our socials updated, looks after our online presence and website, and helps develop all the materials we use to teach. She checks the quality, cross-checks the details and makes sure everything comes together. She also protects our brand, making sure everything looks, feels and sounds consistent with who we are.

We love to make lots of mistakes together… and then Gemma puts them right! 😂 That’s how it should work, right?!

In fact, anything you see on our social media, except for this post, has probably been posted by Gemma. The only thing I don’t let her touch is TikTok. That’s still my kingdom. Mwahahaha! 😈😂

But beyond everything she does, it’s who she is that we love most. She brings warmth, kindness and balance, like the typical Libra she is! ♎️💜

She’s a wonderful friend and a much-loved part of The Soul Man family. We couldn’t imagine the place without her, and we absolutely love the bones of her.

So, our wonderful Gemma, have a happy, happy birthday today, surrounded by the people you love and adore, and little Bumble too. 🐾💜

You spend so much time helping everyone else shine. Today, it’s your turn!

Please join us in wishing Gemma a very happy birthday! 🥳

We adore you! 💜
