Arthur Turner and Pamela Heneberry started this Leadership development organisation in 2010, since that time PDC has increased its influence in the fields of leadership, management, coaching and mentoring. This has been achieved through a broad range of well-acclaimed programmes, (delivered often through vocational qualifications), conference presentations and a number of published academic papers. We are particularly proud of our recently published book Critical Leadership (Heneberry, Turner & Pardey, 2019). We are delighted with our track record and have enjoyed working with a number of organisations throughout this period. The team at The Professional Development Centre Ltd (PDC) have developed creative and innovative ways of working with organisations and individuals in both public and private sectors in Wales/Cymru and Europe. We have co-created business solutions for leaders, managers, coaches and those aspiring to enter these professional occupations

Since March 2020, PDC have developed a significant on-line presence that provides innovative and real time development solutions. We are still using the skills and creative techniques of experiential learning and action learning with great success, as well as delivering one-to-one coaching sessions. Our highly qualified team associates – all specialists within this field - have also worked across the UK in delivering a wide variety of tailored courses, qualifications and programmes of development – now firmly rooted in our tailored on-line offerings and solutions.

It's an Interconnected World. We need Systems Thinking more than ever

We can't ignore it, we have to work with it. Systems Thinking gives us a practical way to make sense of our interconnected networks and decide how to act. It calls for a new way of thinking and the ability to lead across boundaries.

We're working with the University of South Wales to provide an Introduction to Systems Thinking and how it relates to good strategy on 21st and 22nd October.

In Her Words – Rewriting the Script

You know when you've had a bit of a tricky week and you feel that you need something to give you a bit of a spark again? Well, that's how I was feeling before our last session of In Her Words. Along came three amazing women - they took 10 minutes each to tell their story of resilience, change and bravery and suddenly life perked up and seemed brighter. We need to hear the voices of our amazing women leaders in Wales.
