Windy drive along the A*5 this morning to Llangefni where I've left my work van with Signs & Design to brighten up. It's been fun designing the wraps for it to tie in with my gardening work at Cathy's Gardening Services and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results 🤞🙂

Whilst I spend the majority of the working week gardening, I still do pockets of marketing work as well; I’m just finishing off a website for a fabulous local business which will go live shortly.
And it’s handy being able to double up as marketing manager for my own small business!
A thumbs up for Canva who plant trees when you place a print order. And for their fully recyclable cardboard packaging 👌

Finally, after 3 years and 3 months, I’ve passed the final two exams for my RHS level 2 course so am the proud owner of the RHS level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture. Super pleased and this has been a tough ride alongside work, family and stop starts injected by Covid.
Looking forward to simply going to work and then working on our garden this year!🌱

According to the 2020 Small Business Saturday Consumer Insights Survey, 97% of shoppers recognised the positive impact they can make by shopping small, and 85% of them reported they also encouraged friends and family to do so.

The past 24 months have seen many small businesses struggle through Covid and the economic challenges presented in recent months and keep jogging forward. Time to buy next year's diary...again. This year is whipping by. Despite my day job in tech and digital, I much prefer to task manage on paper - sticks in my mind better somehow.

Apple’s market cap reached $2.306 trillion on the 3rd of November. Wow. Where does that leave Google, Meta and Amazon, whose combined net worth is less than this? Is it a point for concern that all these players are huge and monopolistic 🤔

RHS exam #6 result - pass with commendation - I'm so pleased.

The exam I sat back in June was perhaps the hardest to date. There was a huge gap between the module being taught, Covid struck, which meant missing a third of the sessions, and not all the lesson notes were made available by our tutor. To be honest, I ended up starting all over again and omg, how hard was that on top of work and family life?! So this one feels like a big achievement. I think maybe I believe in myself a little bit more now. Two left to go in Feb 2023 🌱🌻
