The Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team.Reporting directly to the Logistics Team Leader and Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and professional deliveries while maintaining excellent customer relationships.This is a Monday to Friday role with consistent daytime hours, offering a great work-life balance.Your duties will include:

•Multi-drop deliveries across the local and surrounding areas
•Loading and unloading vehicles using a taillift
•Operating electric pallet trucks (EPTs)
•Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
•Completing relevant paperwork accurately
•Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
•Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

Requirements

•Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
•Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
•Experience in multi-drop work preferred
•Comfortable using taillifts and electric pallet trucks
•Strong customer service skills
•Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of palletised goods, predominantly within the Fife area.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering pallets to customer sites in a professional and efficient manner
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with schedules and company procedures
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Representing Purvis Storage and Distribution in a professional manner at all times
Physical Requirements

This role will involve some handball deliveries, therefore applicants must be physically capable of coping with the demands of manual handling.
About You

Holds a valid UK Category B (Cat B driving licence

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Team Leader to oversee day-to-day transport and warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in planning efficient delivery routes, managing warehouse administration, and acting as the first point of contact for drivers and warehouse staff. You will also liaise closely with customers and external partners within the pallet network to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries and a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and optimise delivery routes using a Transport Management System (TMS)
Manage warehouse administration through a Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate stock movement and documentation
Act as the first point of contact for drivers and warehouse operatives, providing support and resolving operational issues
Coordinate daily transport and warehouse activities to meet service and efficiency targets
Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding deliveries, collections, and service queries
Liaise with other depots and companies within the pallet network to manage inbound and outbound freight
Monitor performance, address delays or issues, and implement corrective actions where required
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and transport regulations
Support and motivate the logistics team, promoting teamwork and clear communication
Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or warehouse leadership role
Strong working knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Experience in route planning and transport coordination
Confident communicator with experience dealing with drivers, warehouse staff, customers, and external partners
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Good IT skills and attention to detail

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely service and maintaining high standards of professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to work with a reputable company committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal applicant will possess a valid driving licence, relevant experience in commercial driving, and familiarity with taillift vehicles.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5 tonne taillift lorry for the transportation of goods to designated locations, which will mostly be cages.
Load and unload items using appropriate equipment, ensuring securement for transit.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of deliveries.
Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during operations.
Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered on route.
Ensure the vehicle remains clean and well-maintained throughout the working day.
Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with taillift vehicles or similar commercial lorries.

Monday – Friday 9.30am-6.30pm.

About You

You will be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager you will have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills. You will deliver high standards, working accurately, efficiently and most important safely.

So, what is involved?

· Manage all incoming goods including reporting of any damaged goods.

· Loading & unloading vehicles.

· Act as key point of contact between goods in/out and the transport suppliers

· Forklift license & proven experience essential. Articulated truck licence desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.

· Health and safety awareness.

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

· Efficiently stack and store stock in the appropriate areas within the warehouse.

· Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and tidy and layout is optimized for efficiency.
