In the heat of the late afternoon sun, elders gather under the shade of the Acacia tree to congregate and uphold the values of pastoral heritage through storytelling and wordplay. Values which contribute so much to the identity of the Somali people, their language, customs and culture. Stories and lessons were shared over a brewing pot of tea before herding the family's livestock across the plains and mountains of the country that forms the Horn of Africa.
