Today's word: identity theft in the bible. Through out the bible whenever the children of Isreal were taken captive the first thing that their captors did was change their names. They'd give them the names of their gods as with the case of Daniel and his friends. The devil is always after your identity in Christ. He knows that if you know who you're in God , he can't mess with you but the moment you're walk in sin, you're under his jurisdiction . Please journey with me to the book of 1 Sam 18: 14-16. Little David behaved himself wisely...so what happened?
1. The Lord was with him
2. Saul became afraid of him
3. Israel loved David
4. He escaped death (in the first place it was a death trap, Saul had sent him to the front line hoping he'd get killed' When David behaved himself wisely, he was under God's jurisdiction and that means that it's God's responsibility to protect you. It's not negotiable, it's not something you beg for, it's His responsibility to watch over you once you're under His jurisdiction ISAIAH 46:4. When Daniel, Mishach, Shadtach and Abed-nego behaved themselves wisely the LORD was their stay in their fiery furnace. Ladies and gentlemen sin is not all about going to hell the REAL DEAL is the devil stealing your identity and disarming you of your power and rights. Next time you see sin remember you're about to be disarmed, flee. Don't follow the crowd follow the Lord. The devil is afraid of people who walk in righteousness and that's why you're always under attack.
In other news work hard, let your meals be full of water, fruit and veggies and don't forget to excercise the world is DEMANDING for HEALTHY people. Balance your life, be smart!
