When Trump was first elected, someone/ or many - who were probably not big fans, they managed to rank his photo for the word “idiot”.

So, when you were typing “idiot”, you would get photos of Donald Trump.

No, there is no longer what we once called “negative seo”, but this incident can make you think from another perspective.

Most people think that SEO is a technical, complex process, which is not a high priority activity for a business.

But, you can use the power of search to get more people to know about you / your brand - for a good reason and increase brand awareness, as well.

Its biggest power is that you have the ability yo associate your name with specific words and phrases and establish your name / brand /company in the market.

A nice example is the Backlinko.

It’s not a coincidence that he is considered as an SEO Guru.

Apart from his great ideas and work, he made sure, early on, to create good and quality content, around terms, like “backlink”, “seo”, “content strategy” etc.

This is the power of search, which is huge and is constantly growing..

From €0 to €1.1K in 3 days 🎉
_______________________________

If you’ve been following me in social media for a while, you probably know 2 things about me:
1. I’m good with SEO or
2. I launched my first SEO mini-product, Traffic Maximizer, 2 months ago.

Traffic Maximizer is based on a Content Audit framework I designed and implemented on multiple businesses from different niches.

It actually helped them increase their organic traffic.

But that’s for another story..

At the beginning of this process [turning my organic traffic recipe into a product] it almost didn’t make any sense to me.

I had no idea, if this is going to work and if I could actually sell *a product* this way.

We put together [in a week] …
- Positioning
- A sales page + design + copy
- Product delivery automation
- 9 Facebook campaigns
And so we launch Traffic Maximizer, on the span of one weekend.

And waited..

Optimized the ads, and waited more..

And keep waiting..

And nothing happened.

We made like 15 sales in 2-3 weeks and that was it.

I was really disappointed..

And decide to pause the ads until we came up with a different positioning and strategy.

Forward to 6 days ago…
We sat down and created our Campaign strategy from scratch, including changes in the ad creatives and the copy, as well as a complete different audience setup.

And 3 days ago…
We launched Traffic Maximizer again!

As of today, we’ve made over 45 sales within 2.5 days.

And the numbers keep growing. 🥳

---
Most of the time, we don’t believe in ourselves.

Launching your own product or venture, sometimes feels incredibly hard.

It’s much easier to sell or advertise someone else’s product / service.

Even if you’ve used the core product recipe a hundred times, even if it’s been tested and proven to perform well, selling it yourself is a COMPLETELY different process.

Despite what you might think though..

You can make it work!

No matter how hard it feels.

Also, you need people around you who care about you and support you.

All of *this* couldn't happen without Bill's support on sales, positioning and marketing. 🙏

He's for sure a marketing & sales genius.

And we're making a good team, after all. 💪

And that was just the beginning of this journey.

It's really impressive how this team:
🍫 think about approaching new opportunities in search.
🍫 how they systemize their approach to scaling what they do.

Once more, we can see, that if you want to level up your content and get more traffic, you have to:
🎯 create content hubs for SEO
🎯 create content for user intent
🎯 come up with a scalable backlink program

How to improve CTR (click-through rate) 💅
_________________________________________________

There is a huge opportunity to increase traffic that only few people know about:
this is simply finding pages with low CTR and imrove it.

How to spot low CTR pages🤖

1. Head over to Google Search Console account.
2. Now go over to the Performance Report.
3. On the surface, the report is straightforward.
The biggest opportunity here, is finding the pages that have a high number of impressions but very few clicks and low CTR.
4. In the Queries tab, click “Impressions” to sort your queries by the number of impressions.

How to improve CTR ‍🚀

If the keyword is a good choice (has a good amount of monthly searches, is relavant to core business service/product etc.),
🍿 Check if the page that the keyword is ranking for, has the same search intent and context as the keyword.
For example, a keyword with commercial search intent can't have high CTR if it's targeting a page with informational context.
🍿 Optimize page title and meta description, by using a call-to-action or changing tone of voice.
🍿 Optimize for featured snippets (this might be as simple as adding schema tags in the page, or adding a table of contents)
🍿 Add internal links from relevant pieces of content from your site.

Be careful⛔
There is no point to try impoving CTR if:
⚠️ Search intent is satisfied by the search result page (this will always lead to non-clicks)
⚠️ There is a high number of ads in search results
