The UK’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework uses the Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM) to classify packaging recyclability through a Red/Amber/Green (RAG) system.

What does it take to achieve “Green” status?

To qualify, packaging should meet key criteria:

• 100% mono-material PP (pot, lid and label)
• Natural, clear, or white pot and lid
• Minimum 40 mm in two dimensions for effective sorting
• Inks ideally below 1% of total weight
•PP pots widely collected across the UK (over 75% of local authorities)

Packaging Mode in-mould labelled pots are made entirely from a single PP polymer and meet the specified criteria, thus can be reported as EPR RAM Green. ✅
