What makes you happy at work? For Emily, it's helping others grow and learn πŸ’

To celebrate , we caught up with Emily, one of our Clinical Trainers, to understand what it is about her role that brings her joy πŸ˜ƒ

After working in the NHS, she joined Ingeus looking for a role where she could continue using her clinical skills while trying something new.

Today, she supports healthcare professionals, delivers training and continues developing her own knowledge and experience.

From learning new skills to helping others thrive, Emily's story is a great reminder that careers can continue to evolve in exciting and fulfilling ways.

πŸ˜€ isn't just about loving your job. Sometimes it's about finding the support you need when things feel overwhelming to help you stay well in work.

Claire's story is a wonderful example of that.

After losing both her parents, managing difficult family circumstances, workplace pressures and the effects of menopause, Claire's wellbeing declined to the point where she was away from work for nearly ten months.

🧠 Then she found AbleFutures.

Working with Mental Health Coach Tanika, Claire spent nine months learning practical techniques to manage stress, anxiety and burnout, while rebuilding her confidence one step at a time.

The support helped Claire return to work and focus on her wellbeing more. Today she's taking holidays with friends, making plans for the future and feeling positive about what's ahead.

🀝 Inclusion isn't one thing. It looks different for everyone. Throughout , we're exploring the many ways inclusion helps people thrive.

Today, we're focusing on neurodiversity and workplace inclusion through Mike's story.

After receiving an autism diagnosis, Mike, an Inclusion Champion for Ingeus on Inclusion Works, began to better understand his preferred ways of working.

βœ… Through practical workplace adjustments, supportive managers, flexible working arrangements and involvement in the Ingeus Disability Network, he has been able to grow his confidence and thrive in his role helping employers create more inclusive workplaces.

Importantly, it wasn't just the adjustments that made the difference. It was the culture.

πŸ’¬ β€œThere is a great culture of respect and support in the company.”

Today, we're focusing on raising awareness that there isn’t one right path to employment and being as accessible as possible can make a difference to people’s lives. As seen through Vee's story 🀩

Living with ADHD, Vee struggled with confidence, organisation and overwhelm. Traditional employment wasn't the right fit for her.

Rather than expecting her to adapt to a standard pathway, support was tailored around her needs. With Ingeus, Momentic and The Better Health Generation UK, Vee received structured weekly tasks, business start-up support, neurodiversity coaching and practical strategies to help her manage her ADHD.

What followed was the launch of her own creative business, Millie's Keepsakes. Turning a creative hobby into a thriving self-employment venture! πŸ₯³

Her story demonstrates the importance of tailoring support around the individual to make it accessible to them and broadening our approaches outside of a β€œone size fits all” mindset.

See how Vee turned creativity into a career with a pathway that worked for her 🎨 https://ow.ly/aeQ950ZNqip

🏷️ Today, we're focusing on helping young people to reframe labels through Amanda’s story, one of our Youth Voice Ambassadors.

Living with a chronic illness, mental health challenges and being neurodivergent shaped Amanda's experiences, but they never defined her potential β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Through Youth Voice, Amanda found something many young people are still searching for: a place where she could be herself, her ideas were listened to and her contribution genuinely mattered.

Since joining, she's completed Mental Health First Aid training, represented young people at national events, helped shape projects and services, and become an advocate for creating better opportunities for others.

πŸ’¬ "My chronic illness and other challenges are part of my story, but they are not the whole story."

Amanda's story reminds us that inclusion isn't simply about making space for people. It’s about enabling them to see that their circumstances are not barriers, and in inclusive environments, you can grow πŸͺ΄
