The weather over the next few days is going to be absolutely scorching across the United Kingdom. But it’s worth understanding if you have pets or small children, how hot the outside world is going to be.
Studies show that a temperature of 52 degrees C, can cause a full-thickness skin burn in 2 minutes and a temperature of 54 degrees C, can result in a full-thickness skin burn in 30 seconds.
So, over the next few days, maybe give that bare foot walking, the trip to the rubber matting at the park, or the dog walk a miss during those super hot periods?
