Over the last two days, the Strategy in Action Programme has been in full swing in Zagreb, Croatia!

Partnering with COTRUGLI Business School, the first components of the Strategy in Action Programme were delivered by Davide Sola to more than 30 ambitious SME's, supported by Filoklis Kotsifis and Ben Davis.

The focal point of the workshop was our innovative SiA Platform, leveraging intelligent data, e-learning tools, and proven strategy frameworks to enable all participants to immediately apply their strategy learnings there in the room, developing their Strategy in a Page, Internal Analysis, and External Analysis.

It was exciting to see the engagement, excitement, and hard work from all participants and their respective companies, leveraging the powerful outputs of the Strategy in Action Programme in conjunction with specialist industry knowledge and expertise, enabling the first steps towards more resilient, efficient, and effective strategic plans.

With so much talent, drive, and expertise in the room, we look forward to the next exciting steps towards strategic excellence for all of those involved!

: Marta Vignetta, Office Manager

A vital member of the team working “behind the scenes” at 3HORIZONS is our Office Manager, Marta. The beating heart of the company, Marta looks after our offices in both London and Cyprus, taking care of all admin, HR, and accounting duties.

From a small village just outside of Turin, Italy, Marta practised her studies in a law firm and an international bank right after graduating from school in Turin. She then decided to move to London several years ago to push her boundaries and experience new opportunities.

Before joining 3HORIZONS, Marta worked in a variety of different environments that honed her skills and gave her a range of great experiences, ultimately helping to build the person that Marta is today.

She loves hanging out with friends, travelling around the world, and listening to music in her free time.

On October 26th we kicked off another exciting new Strategy in Action Programme with Avon Protection plc!

Taking place in London, the first workshop saw us meet, support, and collaborate with some of the leadership team, combining strategy expertise with their deep industry knowledge to collaborate and facilitate the development of the first draft of their group’s Vision, Mission, Level of Ambition, and Market Matrix.

The workshop consisted of our trademark agile blend of "learning" and "doing", covering the underlying strategy theory, then immediately undertaking group activities - such as the tennis ball game - where attendees are encouraged to challenge conventional thinking and learn key skills to be applied to their strategy work moving forward.

All exercises were supported by the material collected in advance of the workshop, such as examples of Vision and Mission statements, foresight, and survey responses.

The ability to instantly put strategy concepts into practice with your own organisation fosters a greater understanding of the power that a well-constructed strategy can have and how it can immediately begin making a positive difference to all company operations.

Last week, our CEO and co-founder Davide Sola delivered an Experience Programme, 'Putting Strategy in Action', at COTRUGLI Business School in Zagreb.

During the two days of lectures and activities, the participants learned how to master the core concepts of creating ambitious and data-driven business strategies and making strategic choices based on a combination of competitive industry dynamics and the capabilities of a company.

This collaboration will continue on November 8-9, 2022, at Cotrugli Business School, when we will be hosting a pro bono workshop about Strategy in Action (SiA), where participants will also learn how to use the SiA Platform to build more resilient and effective business strategies.

The workshop will be held by Davide Sola and supported by Filoklis Kotsifis and Ben Davis.

Last week we were privileged to continue our work with the ATP Tour, with the second of our strategy workshops with them at their London offices.

The workshop engaged key members of the ATP leadership team from around the world, combining deep industry expertise with expert strategy frameworks to collaboratively deliver outcomes that will drive continued positive growth of the sport for fans and players alike.

This Friday, 3HORIZONS will take part in ‘Wear It Pink Day’, one of the UK's biggest fundraising events dedicated to breast cancer.

The event, which will take place on 21 October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, consists of thousands of amazing people wearing pink in their communities, schools, or workplaces to help make life-changing research and care happen.

The goal is to help breast cancer research and support, contributing to the care of sick people and providing hope for the future.‘Wear It Pink Day’ - which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary - has raised more than £37 million (and counting) so far.
