Created by , the Moon’ is a seven-metre globe detailed with NASA’s imagery of the moon’s surface.

Each centimetre of the sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface, and short of giant leaps in commercial space travel, it’s likely the closest you’ll get to the Moon’s surface in this lifetime.

Yacht spotting. Seen last week in Monaco: MY AQUILA.

Launched as Cakewalk by Derecktor Shipyards in 2010, the 85.6-metre superyacht Aquila was designed by with an original interior created by Elizabeth Dalton of .

After changing hands in 2014, Aquila underwent a major rebuild at the Pendennis Shipyard in the UK where her owners drafted RWD to completely redesign her interior.

I was involved in the project and helped with the lighting plans under the master guidance of Lighting Design International and light fixtures by John Cullen Lighting.

Following the intensive 12-month refit, Aquila re-emerged in 2016 with a transformed interior style including several new features like a pool on the top deck, cinema room and reconfigured master suite on the owner’s deck.
On her lower deck Cakewalk has a spectacular tender garage that opened on both sides — with a Aquariva and a Limousine tender.

Works undergone at Pendennis Shipyard Limited. She has become the biggest vessel yet refitted in the UK.

Investing in your employees is the smartest Business Decision you can make. Over the last year, many employers have sought out ways to best support employees’ mental health.

One option was to offer access to app or digital tool. Are these efficient?

Of course, these apps alone aren't enough to treat a mental health condition, but they can offer employees access to effective tools, skills, and resources — from mindfulness exercises, to mood and behaviour tracking, to biofeedback — that may help them better cope and manage.

But, there is a but.

These tools may help but the support of a coach is immensely better.

You will have 1:1 conversations.

These are an exercise in building trusting, respectful, mutually beneficial relationships.

A coach will help to regain your purpose, increase your confidence and become more self aware.

If you need to, make the case to your HR department that it’s worth the financial investment, highlighting the benefits to your team in terms of reduced burnout and increased productivity and engagement.

And if you do invest in a coach, be sure to track the impact by checking in with your employees regularly on how they're doing.

I have spent the previous year to study and deepened my knowledge on the topic.

I integrated, blended and merged that with my experience as business developer and free lance consultant.

Plus I got the diploma in Coaching Practice accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation).

The mix of experiences and new perspectives gave me so much confidence and appreciation on the coaching. By seeing the results of my work I am always impressed about how powerful and useful a coach can be.

I offer a chemistry session free of charge.

If you are interested feel free to contact me.

I'm very happy to see MY Sherpa also known as project 815 sailing in the North Sea. This was a project I had the pleasure to contribute as lighting consultant in 2017.

The owner wanted a different kind of vessel and...I think the guys at really made it!

Although the lines are more for an explorer yacht the owner wanted a home-like feeling for the non-operational areas.

Together with RWD Design and I think we achieved that.

Lights were placed in specific position to resemble a family atmosphere. The colour temperature was tuned right for the purpose.

In lighting there are some tricks that can make the difference!

When it comes to a project I always recommend to consult a lighting specialist. A professional that knows the light and how to use it.

It's worth the money.

Eclipse crowned the winner of the first World Cup of Superyachts!

Boat International Media launched a competition for 16 of the greatest yachts drawn from a hat and the number was swiftly whittled down to a face-off in the grand final between Eclipse and Octopus - two of the most impressive yachts ever built.

After a gruelling week of competition and over 47,000 votes cast, the 162 metre Blohm+Voss superyacht Eclipse (https://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/the-superyacht-directory/eclipse--73837) with exterior and interior design by Terence Disdale Design has been crowned the winner of the inaugural World Cup of Superyachts.

Side note: if you look at the two finalists, Eclipse and Octopus, you realise that both yachts are respectively from 2010 and 2003. Whilst other newer yachts i.e. Venus, SY A, Black Pearl or Ulysses halted their way to the second round...

Does it mean that the 'old school' wins over the new designed yachts?

Food for thoughts.

Hello designers, thinkers, artists and all the creative community out there! Read this.

Look at nothing

Listen to nothing

Feel everything

Understand everything

Alone with yourself

Look up

Love and give

And also create a laboratory of pure creativity

Do these lines inspire you? Or...

Designer Philippe Starck needs very little introduction.

In classic Starck style, the poem is the right amount of cryptic, inviting aspiring creatives to observe the world with curiosity, creativity and independence. It is a serious manifesto for creativity, and good advice that should be taken in consideration by emerging designers, established creatives, and anyone needing a bit of encouragement and inspiration.

One of cycling’s most storied climbs renowned for its stark moonscape summit, where the gradience is nearly 9 percent average: Mont Ventoux.

Today after five years the Tour de France finds the Giant of Provence for a stage certainly full of meanings. The Sorgues-Malaucene measures 198.9 km of running and is based on the double climb of Mont Ventoux, an unprecedented choice in the 70th anniversary of the first climb on this mythical mountain.

I climbed the mountain thanks to the invitation to the incredible event organised by MB92 - La Ciotat.

I learned a lot from that experience.

Cycling can be compared to running a business: to suceed you need constant sustainable power and commitment. Resilience and patience: one bend at a time.

One after the other.

Set the peak as your target and work hard for each step in between.

It is not easy. Actually it's very hard. But...

The reward is to get up to the top.

The reward is to achieve your goals.

What is the best advice for your career?

The traditional career path is:

- Go to school
- Get a job
- Work xx hours per week
- Switch jobs
- Buy "things"
- Save money (uhm...)
- Try to retire (argh...stop moving that post...)
- Finally, retire

All that hard work for a few years of freedom?

No thanks.

How can you change that path?

1st: change your mindset about what's possible.
2nd: get started on your own journey today.
3rd: learn & grow over time.

📣 Important: invest in yourself. 📣

Social Engagement is the process of communicating (engaging) in an online community.

When companies engage and respond to customer service requests over social media, those customers end up spending 20% to 40% more money with the company.

Social media is fast becoming the dominant method for communication across the world, creating both a need for active response and an opportunity for brand sentiment improvement.

But...

How to make social engagement more 'engaging'?

Follow these steps:

LEARN +

FUN +

ENTERTAIN +

EDUCATIVE +

INSPIRE

The fact that I have been involved in superyacht projects does not necessarily mean that I'd advocate motor yachts. Not even I dream spending my free time onboard those monumental constructions.

In fact I dream đź’ of a peaceful, quiet, relaxing wooden sailing dayboat.

What is your dream for your favourite holiday?
