Let’s talk uniforms…

In most areas of life, first impressions matter and this goes for security too. ’s often a debate between practicality and presentation, but in our experience, smart always wins. Whether that’s a client-requested branded uniform or a more formal, suited approach, a professional appearance sets the tone from the outset.

The Hoxton is a stylish, high-traffic venue right in the heart of London, known for its mix of hotel guests, dining, and a lively social atmosphere and we’re proud to be on hand as the first point of call for guests as they arrive.

Emmanuel was holding it down at the front door with his signature big smile, always setting the tone for a welcoming and secure environment.

A bit of a sad one for us this week as we say goodbye to Joshua, who has been Head Doorman at Electric Shuffle, Canary Wharf and has completed his final shift this weekend.

Joshua has been a brilliant Head Doorman, always making sure customers were safe, looked after, and having a good time. He’s been a solid part of the team and a familiar face on the door.

Not only are we sad to see him go but our clients at Electric Shuffle have told us that he’ll definitely be missed.

It’s important for us to recognise our employees hard work and recognition from the venues - it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed!

“Today marks the end of an era , our head of operations for Metroguard Paul Tomala completes his last round of site visits and will be returning home to Poland for good . Paul has been fantastic hard working and extremely loyal to our business , sometimes worked too hard , not once has he ever said no and most of all a great friend to all . Thank you Paul, thank you for all your hard work but most of all thank you for being our friend.”

A perfect tribute from Director Andy Bannon, as we said a very sad farewell to our Head of Operations Przemysław (Paul) Tomala this weekend.

Paul has been an instrumental member of the Metro Guard Oxford Limited team, caring about his role, his team and our clients an unimaginable amount; clearly reflective in the standard of his work and relationships formed over his years with us.

We wish Paul all of the very best as he returns home to Poland, but hoping it’s not a goodbye, just a see you soon!
