Most ecommerce brands fail with their SEO, not because is “too competitive”
It’s because they treat SEO like a marketing channel…
instead of a revenue system.
What we usually see:
❌ SEO is disconnected from product strategy
❌ Category pages aren’t built for search discovery
❌ Collections are created for search engines, not actual demand
❌ No alignment between keywords and inventory
So what happens?
They rank for product pages they don’t really care to sell
and ignore the pages that actually make money.
And then they say:
“SEO doesn’t work for us”
The reality?
SEO only works when it’s tied to:
✅ products with highest margins
✅ how people search to discover brands and buy
✅ how your site converts
Otherwise, it’s just traffic with no direction.
