AfBC African Business Awards 2026: Finalist Announcement
The African Business Chamber (AfBC) is pleased to announce that Linda Wayoe MBA, MCBI - Chartered Banker and Board Member, UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce has been officially selected and shortlisted for the AfBC Global Diaspora Excellence Award category.
Linda Wayoe is an award-winning Chartered Banker, senior corporate executive, and international consultant with extensive experience across financial services, international trade, diaspora engagement, and strategic advisory. She is widely recognised for advancing trade, investment, and economic collaboration between Ghana, Africa, and global markets, while championing the African diaspora as a catalyst for development, innovation, and global influence.
A passionate advocate for diaspora advancement and cross-continental collaboration, Linda has built an exceptionalcareer spanning finance, policy, trade, and international development. Her work has strengthened economic ties between Africa and its global diaspora by mobilising diaspora capital, expertise, networks, and strategic partnerships to support sustainable growth, investment, and private sector development across the continent.
With expertise in stakeholder engagement, institutional capacity building, policy advisory, international development strategy, and public-private partnerships, Linda advises governments, multinational organisations, and development agencies on cross-border growth and international cooperation. She is particularly recognised for shaping discussions around Africa’s evolving trade landscape and promoting diaspora inclusion in Africa’s economic transformation.
Linda is a founding member of the UK-Ghana Investors Group, established by the UK Department for Business and Trade to strengthen bilateral trade and investment between the UK and Ghana. She also contributes to trade and investment policy through leadership and advisory roles with the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce and the Ghana-UKInvestment and Opportunities Summit. She further served on the advisory team for the inaugural UK-Africa Investment Summit organised by the UK Government, helping strengthen commercial and diplomatic relations between Africa and the UK.
