The Tate Modern…

A visit to London isn’t complete without a trip to the Tate Modern. It houses contemporary art from around the world in the former Bankside Power Station on the banks of the river Thames.

The awe-inspiring Turbine Hall runs the length of the entire building and you can see the amazing works for free by artists such as Cezanne, Bonnard, Picasso, Matisse, Rothko, Dall, Po***ck, Warhol and Bourgeous.

Entrance for the Gallery is FREE, charges for events/Special exhibitions.

Opening Times:
Sunday to Thursday- 10:00 - 18:00 hrs.
Friday and Saturday: 19:00 - 22:00 hrs.

Close on 24, 25, 26 of December, but opens January 1.
It is open as normal Bank Holidays .
