We have been in our studio 2 years this May 🎉
And 4 years of Studio Swade… 🤯
chudasama took this picture and made me laugh as it kind of reflects how I have camouflaged into the business which i suppose is maybe inevitable…
And its made me reflect on where I’m at and where I’m heading.
✋I wanted to create a space for myself that i could be using my hands making, less computers please.
⏳ I wanted to have more control over how i spent my time…. getting a monthly pay check is amazing but days and weeks were disappearing - i think i probably work more now than i did before but ya know!
🤑 I needed to make enough money to be able to cover my bases, mortgage bills and food…. With enough for some beers at the end, but knew I would be taking a pay cut…
🙏 Its been amazing/ exhausting/ exciting/ and scary at times, but Im so happy all the lovely projects and chairs that have thru my doors, and allowed me to create that space i was craving
🐭🧠 off to plan out some goals for the next few years…
