BNI Putney in-person meeting take place at London Rowing Club), The embankment, Putney, London
SW15 1LB.

Our meeting room overlooks the river Thames, and we have a small kitchen area and toilet facilities. There is also a car park behind the office, which members and guests can use.

We are situated within easy reach of Putney High Street, with its shops, restaurants and cafes and within walking distance of Putney Exchange shopping centre and Southside Shopping Centre. If in need, we are well served by public transport, with Putney Bridge station (District line) and East Putney station (Overground) just a few minutes walk away.

If you are coming by car, there are several Pay & Display parking spaces nearby and some blue badge bays.

What can you expect from a BNI chapter meeting 🤔

Be Prepared: Prepare to talk about your company when you visit a chapter. Members want to know how they can benefit from interactions with newcomers. Also, ensure that you bring your business cards.

Meetings: You can attend a chapter meeting twice as a visitor. Just remember, this is the opportunity to get to know the public persona of the chapter and its members, not to showcase your company. Meetings are high-energy and follow a defined plan. They last roughly 90 minutes, with additional networking time before and after each session. We suggest you arrive around 15 minutes early to avoid missing out on networking chances.

You're the Expert: One person from each professional expertise is eligible to join a BNI chapter, minimising the threat of competition amongst members. When you join a chapter, you are the primary spokesperson of your field and, therefore, can form relations with others in the chapter as their go-to expert for your services.

Respect Your Craft: Our members' enterprises are their full-time jobs, enabling them to position themselves as specialists and leaders in their industry.

Anytime you meet someone new, you're making a first impression. And first impressions are always important, whether you're meeting a potential employer, client or business partner. The old saying "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" is especially true in business. First impressions are made within seconds based on appearance, body language, dress, and grooming.

To make an excellent first impression. It’s essential to be well-groomed and dressed appropriately for the setting; the first connection between you and someone else is visual.
