🪧🇬🇧 第九場反中國超級大使館示威
1月17日，與港人及其他離散族群、本地居民和跨黨派政界人士一起站出來反對中國在倫敦塔村區興建超級大使館。這將是第九場——也可能是最後一場——反對這座「巨型間諜基地」和「跨國鎮壓中心」的抗議活動。
英國政府早前第三次推遲中國大使館的規劃申請決定，最新限期為1月20日。本週有本地傳媒報導，首相施紀賢（Keir Starmer）將在月底訪問北京前批准興建大使館，而不顧廣大社會發出的間諜活動和跨國鎮壓警告。
過去一年，英國各地數以千計民眾一次又一次上街示威，要求叫停超級大使館。英國政府必須聽從他們的集體呼聲，否決計劃以保障國家安全和在英國尋求避風港者的安全。

🪧🇬🇧 Ninth protest against the proposed Chinese super embassy in London
Join Hong Kong and other diaspora communities, local residents and cross-party politicians in standing against the proposed Chinese super embassy in Tower Hamlets, London on 17 January. It will be the ninth – and possibly the last – protest against this ‘mega spy base’ and ‘hub for transnational repression’.
The UK government has delayed – for the third time – its decision on China’s planning application to 20 January. This week, local media revealed that Prime Minister Keir Starmer would give the go-ahead for the embassy ahead of his visit to Beijing at the end of the month, despite widespread warnings about espionage and transnational repression.
Over the past year, thousands of people across the UK came together and took to the streets over and over again to say no to the super embassy. The government must heed their collective call and reject the proposal to protect national security and the safety of those seeking refuge in Britain.
