If you sell equipment into the EU or UK through multiple import and distribution channels, an Authorised Representative can provide a single location for the Technical File justifying your Declaration of Conformity. Your importers and distributors have the reassurance that the information will be available if requested by market surveillance bodies. Their responsibilities under EU Market Surveillance Regulation (EU)2019/1020 will be covered. You do not need to give your importers access to what may be sensitive information.
