Great to see a record number of women billionaires in the UK according to Sunday Times Rich List. Also including J K Rowling, Rihanna, Queen Of Diamonds Alisa Moussaieff , Emma Hindle, Eva Hamren-Larsson and DebbieBestwick.โฃ

Debbie started her first job in a game shop here in the UK, she left school before taking her A levels, worked her way up to Store Promotional Manager and later led the company she co founded to the stock market. She launched the multi award winning Worms in the 90's and actively mentors women in the gaming industry,โฃ

I've found it endlessly helpful learning about the female industry leaders, to model success and learn how they got to where they are. I think Debbie is an excellent example of this. When I read the above article where she discusses confidence it resonated with me, especially the importance of a supportive team around you. โฃ

There's still more men than women in senior/leadership positions in the UK and workplaces should promote confidence building at work and create an environment which enables women to progress. Using mentors, inspirational leaders, success models, educating, training etc. โฃ
