Amidst all talk of impact on mortgages and interest rates, the limelight really should be on the current impact on real people. It is so disheartening to learn that NHS staff are moving to less stressful jobs or taking on a second job just to get by. What does it say if staff don’t have money to pay for their commute into the workplace? And the impact on their own mental well-being, if what they earn does not even afford the cost of their children‘s school uniform?

Can calling a work colleague bald amount to s*xual harassment? Yes - rules a Tribunal as referring to baldness in a derogatory way is unwanted conduct and violates the individual's dignity. Baldness is also more prevalent in men than women and therefore inherently related to s*x.

Calling a male colleague bald isn’t harmless banter but s*xual harassment.

According to the PFA’s director of women’s football, these important milestones are a step towards ensuring contractual parity for female members compared to the men’s game.

Professional female footballers in England are to benefit from maternity and long-term sickness cover in a landmark change to their contracts
