"I feel honored to represent Integrity Sports International in the Human Rights and Sport summer program organized by T.M.C. Asser Instituut and FIFPRO.

Sports and human rights are closely linked, with the United Nations recognizing sports as a fundamental right and a tool for achieving development, peace, and human rights. Sports can promote human rights in several ways, including providing a platform for social inclusion, promoting social cohesion and tolerance, and addressing specific human rights issues such as gender inequality. However, sports can also be a site for human rights abuses, including exploitation and discrimination. Therefore, it is essential for sports organizations, government agencies, and civil society to work together to ensure that human rights are respected within the practice of sports through policies, regulations, and monitoring mechanisms.

Overall, sports have enormous potential to promote and protect human rights, but this requires a coordinated effort from all stakeholders to ensure that sports are conducted in a manner that upholds the principles of human dignity, equality, and respect."
