Getting likes on your post feels good.
Making sales from LinkedIn is even better.
If you agree:
STOP just posting and hoping for the best.
START building relationships and make offers
Here's what I've learned after 10+ years on this platform:
• Posts open the doors
• Messages build relationships
• Offers close deals
This is where I would start + DM scripts:
→ 1. Comment on your potential clients' posts
Not with "Great post!" but with real insights that demonstrate your expertise.
Over time, this will build familiarity and put you on their radar as someone who genuinely cares about building relationships.
→ 2. Send messages after they engage
If someone comments or likes, it's the perfect moment to start a conversation. Not a pitch. A genuine question:
"Hey [NAME], saw your comment on my post about [topic]. What part of that resonates most with what you're working on right now?"
→ 3. Make a clear offer
After 3-5 genuine exchanges, if there's alignment, ask permission to share your offer:
"I'm working with [type of client] to solve [specific problem]. Given what you've shared, this might be relevant to you. Want me to share more?"
Visibility is just the first step.
Sales come from conversations.
Which of these three steps are you currently skipping?
Reply in the comments and I'll send you a resource to help you close that gap.
