B2B specialist tour operator seeking a Operations & Reservations Assistant.

Role Summary
• Liaison with business customers and suppliers to ensure reservation & booking administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Hands-on approach to problem solving whilst maintaining the company’s high standards for both supplier and customer satisfaction.

Desirable Experience
• A good understanding of USA and Canada geography.
• Previous experience in travel and in a Reservations/Administration role

Essential Experience and Skills
• Sales focused
• Methodical and attention to detail
• Problem solving skills - ownership
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Work well under pressure and in a busy environment

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Processing bookings via website, in-house booking system and supplier portals.
• Answer customer and supplier queries via shared mailbox and telephone.
• Liaise with suppliers and tour operator clients to confirm reservations and ensure every enquiry is converted to a booking.
• Assist to resolve pre-departure issues as well as any in-resort.
• Ensure department deadlines and agreed service levels are achieved.
• Process post-booking cancellations & amendments via website, in-house booking system and supplier portals.
• Collate, check and issue arrival documentation to tour operator clients.
