But the energy industry is behind - a report from Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy (CGEP) Women in Energy 2018 workshop highlights that women represent between 22% and 34% of the workforce in the energy industry, with percentages at the highest ranks even smaller.

“Inclusion Moments” are something we’ve been doing in teams for years, and are such a quick and easy way to build deeper connections between people are cultivate an inclusive and resilient team culture!

They can be big, like “what are you afraid of?”
Or small, like “how do you like your eggs?”
Or hopeful, like “what is one travel destination you want to go to when restrictions lift?”

Thrive founder joins the CIOB Wednesday, July 7th to discuss inclusive leadership and psychological safety in the Construction industry.

The construction industry has long been accused of lagging behind when it comes to diversity and inclusion. Inclusion benefits everyone: studies have shown that diversity and inclusion improves financial performance, innovation and collaboration, culture, and safety – among other things.

But importantly in construction, inclusion helps counter the idea that you have to be certain type of person in order to succeed.
