- RareFounders - The London Startup Scene is an informal and networking-focused event.
- Each event we are expecting over 250 attendees, with 60% of them being founders, 15% investors, and 25% other industry professionals.
- Founders and investors will have the opportunity to do a one-minute pitch during the event. Bringing more world changing business ideas to live by building the bridge between founders and investors, through harnessing the power of founders and investor community.

Today is a big day for SoPhy: Network Intelligence - we’re testing it at our event with 250 people.

To say I’m stressing is an understatement.
Last night my CTO pushed the final updates and bug fixes to TestFlight. The usual 30-minute approval suddenly turned into 5 hours, which killed our window to test and fix anything before submitting to the App Store.

Then this morning, Apple rejected the update - I almost had a heart attack. Turned out to be a minor error and it got approved within minutes. Now we’re at the mercy of Apple to push the update live in time for tonight.
We just have to hope nothing breaks.

This is our first real test at scale. Hard not to have expectations after everything we’ve put into it, but ultimately it’s a learning process. I just hope our audience is patient with us - at the end of the day, we’re building it for them.

This happens to me at least a few times every week.

Someone asks me for an intro to a person I’m connected to. The problem is, I don’t know them.

Yes, we are connected. But we never spoke. Never exchanged messages.

And this is true for 90% of my network. I have 12,000 connections 😱 I know majority of you would relate to this.

So what’s the point of this network if I can’t tap into it?

I can’t ask these people for help. I can’t ask for advice. I can’t introduce them to anyone. It becomes a waste of time.

This is what we are changing.

We are building a solution that maps your real relationships. The people you actually speak to online and meet in real life.

Soon you will see your true network and take full advantage of it. This is based on 15 years of research from MIT and Stanford called Social Physics.

We will be the first to bring this outside of lab settings.
