Apothecaries’ Hall: the oldest of the livery halls in London, dating back to the 1600s.
It even survived World War II, thanks to the bomb that dropped down the chimney no less (and did not detonate)!
Tucked away on the cobbled back streets of Blackfriars, once you get past doing 360s on your Google Maps, you will be taken back into time. You'll pass through the recently refurbished reception areas that looks onto a beautiful courtyard. And up the stairs, decadent rooms and original artwork await you.
The venue is packed with character and has a charmingly stern, yet majestic kings and queens feel. Rich in history, with paraphernalia on display throughout (and randomly Agatha Christie’s original "pharmacy” exam results).
The fabulous Joe is on hand to show you around and bring the hall's history, to life!
