We launched our first ever BNT CPD BNT Community affordable CPD training session yesterday, and it was an absolute success!

I'm NANNY SHARZ the founder of BNT Community. I've been a Nanny for the past 22 years and for the past 4 years I run the non profit called BNT Community. Next week is National Nanny Recognition Week. How are you celebrating?

We are hosting 2 events this weekend. On Saturday we have our BNT CPD training day and on Sunday we have our BNT unwine pub lunch. All our events are FREE or under £30 (exc NannyCON)

I host monthly wellness social events and CPD training for career professionals in the childcare, early years and education sector to prevent burnout, boost mental health, build community and provide affordable CPD learning opportunities.

4 years ago I was a burnout, depressed nanny looking for connection and community after a very tough year. Realising there were no spaces in the industry where I could make long lasting friendships or any that catered to mental health, self care and high quality educational opportunities, I created BNT in May 2022.

My main passion is to build a supportive, diverse and inclusive community where professionals that work with children engage, feel safe and heard.

I would love to see more of you at BNT evenrs and engaging with community, but there seems to be a reluctant to engage. I would love to know why. We have 70 professionals in our whatsapp support group, 320+ in our Facebook Group and 340+ on our email newsletter, but yet we struggle to see 8 or more people show up to a event. On Monday we release our tickets for our Christmas Party and we are hoping to welcome 50-100 professionals (ambitious I know, but i'm going to try). If you would like to attend let me know and I can share the details with you.

What can we do to get more of you to engage with a ready made community that could support you through your career?

I really would love to know in the comments what we could do to get you to engage more.

I'm also super happy to also collab with people if they want to host meetups in their area too.

We host wellbeing walks every 2 weeks, an in person social and a annual christmas party and Early Years and wellness conference.

We are here to support you throughout your childcare or early years career.

We provide opportunities to build connections, enhance your skills and foster a sense of community through good vibes, positive energy and great connections. We also have a whatsapp support group and a email newsletter if you want to join just let me know.

Hello Everyone, We have just made our BNT CPD IN-PERSON Workshops LIVE.

The first one starts on Saturday 19th September at 10:00am. These will be monthly CPD sessions one Saturday a month.

Unlocking the power of play isn't just for children it is for EVERYONE. Whilst we were setting up we spotted a skipping rope and our inner child took over and we started to play. It was so much fun and as you know Play is one of the most transformative ways humans can reconnect with joy, regulation, and authentic connection.

Today at our BNT Picnic Playdate in Green Park was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we give ourselves permission to slow down, laugh, and simply play. In a world that constantly demands productivity, gathering outdoors to recharge together in the company of children proved just how vital this community truly is.

Community isn't just about sharing space, it's about creating a safe, non judgemental space where you can show up as your full, unfiltered self. When we come together, we share strength, ease stress, and remind one another that we don’t have to navigate life alone.
