London is where everything began
Back in 2015, Iโve started my career in Strategy Consulting
2015 to 2020 have been amongst the most formative years for me, where Iโve taken on challenges after challenges, rotated industry, departments, country, always tackling the items that were at the core of the C-suite agenda
In 2020, I started freelancing as a Trusted Advisor to C-suite members, tackling the challenges that kept them awake at night.
And freelancing gave me the chance to take on opportunities that would never be given to me, or would never been given to me so early, should I have continued my career as a full-time employee.
Opportunities such as being the Chief of Staff of a global COO (a role with incredible exposure), a Senior Corporate Strategist and even an Interim M&A Director.
Plus it has given me the chance to work for leading clients from Italy.
In 2026, though, after 6 years freelancing for UK clients, Iโve decided to accept an offer as a Director at a global Creative Production Company headquartered in London, and to relocate from Italy
to London.
For some, coming back to corporate after freelancing could seem a step back.
After all, freelancing gives you the freedom of working for clients that you choose, when you want and from where you want.
And thatโs true. Freelancing offers all this.
Plus, it also means moving from an employee mindset to an entrepreneur mindset: you donโt have only to deliver the work, you also have to market yourself to have a continuous pipeline of projects. And comply with regulation and taxation.
My personal experience has been very positive. And working with incredible people led me to an offer that has an great potential for growth.
And if I look back at my career, that has been the red thread that has brought me first into Strategy Consulting, then into Freelancing and now back to Corporate in a role where I can have impact and a huge growth.
So the one reason I moved (back) to London is exactly this: the pursuit of growth (personal and professional)
