COMMENT AND SHARE: The Great Evil of Today is the Hero Worship of Religious Founders

If we focus on practicing the teaching of our founders instead of hero-worshiping them, there would be peace on earth.

Read on:

Religion has become a hero worship competition of whose spiritual teacher was the greatest that we must follow instead of what that teacher taught us to do.

The underlying factor for most of the wars and terrorism we see today is caused by this fanatic hero worship of religious founders.
Jesus, they say, was born of a virgin, healed the sick, raised the dead, died, he was buried, and resurrected.

If all these were true then he was special and we must follow him. The most important question then is, “What Did He Say We Should Do?”

The greatness of a teacher will not make you pass the examination unless you study and apply what he or she taught you to do.

If we apply ourselves to the Love that Jesus taught, the Peace that the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) taught, the Compassion taught by the Buddha, God Awareness as taught by Vedas of Hinduism… the world would be a peaceful place to live in.
