8 rules for a right landing π
β’ What is a landing? π
A landing is a simple website, just one page, which, as a rule, helps for promoting one product or service.
Unlike standard websites, which often perform multiple tasks, the main advantage of a landing is its ability to provide a potential customer with information about your business, product or service in the shortest and most accessible way.
β’ Which are the main steps for creating a proper landing? π
- Top (header) π΄
Every website has a header. Located at the top of the screen, it usually contains main short information about the business. This includes a logo, phone, and the shortest description.
- USP π
Catch the customer as soon as he or she enters the website, offering your unique selling proposition. Customers make a decision on whether they would use the services of a company or an entrepreneur during their first five seconds on the website.
- Advantages π
From the very beginning, tell the customer why he or she should choose you, and why your USP is the best, make all points and assure the customer of your leadership.
- Media content πΌ
Make sure to show the customer how your product or service looks like. Add quality images, interesting videos, and finish with an eye-catching design. The website must trigger emotions, and clear illustrations.
- Feedbacks π’
Do not forget to mention about the feedbacks on your website.
- Contacts π§
If the website doesnβt make money itself, make sure to add your contact details. A landing is still a business card website, correct?
- Purpose-made button π
Make your customer communicate with your business card website. Place βBuyβ, βCallβ and βOrderβ buttons at different sections in order to increase conversion and the level of communication.
- Bottom (footer) π³
At the very end, you should add a so-called βfooterβ. It can contain your contacts, logo, social media buttons and additional links.
