Once again an outstanding art of restoration by A.T. Pracownia Konserwacji Zabytków

W tym tygodniu odbył się odbiór prac konserwatorskich przy cynowym sarkofagu Janusza Ostrogskiego.
Po zamontowaniu wszystkich aplikacji sarkofag ważył niemal tonę. Jego konserwacja była więc nie tylko ogromnym wyzwaniem pod względem konserwatorskim, ale również logistycznym. Praca przy obiekcie o takiej wadze wymagała szczególnej precyzji, ostrożności i odpowiedniego przygotowania.
To jednak jeszcze nie koniec. Do 6 listopada zostaną wykonane również prace przy sarkofagu jego trzeciej żony – Teofilii.
Tego samego dnia odbędzie się ponowny pochówek. Sarkofagi wraz z trumnami tymczasowo spoczną w Kaplicy Męczenników II Wojny Światowej.
A już teraz serdecznie zapraszamy 27 listopada na zwiedzanie Katedry Narodzenia NMP w Tarnowie. Będzie to wyjątkowa okazja, aby zobaczyć również oba sarkofagi po przeprowadzonej przez nas konserwacji.
