Something we hear a lot from people leaders:
“We care about engagement, and we’re doing the surveys, planning the socials, checking in with managers… but it still feels hard to know what’s actually working.”

And honestly, that makes sense!
People teams are carrying a LOT right now.

They’re being asked to build connections across remote, hybrid, fast-growing teams. To support managers who are stretched. To create culture when free time is rare and budgets are tight.

But over the last 5 years, we’ve seen that the companies making real progress aren’t the ones with endless resources...

They’re the ones acting clearly, compassionately and consistently.

This is exactly what we heard when we asked HR leaders from IKEA, Innocent Drinks, Zinc and Process Street what they’ve seen work within their teams.

April marked the first time we had the entire Strive team onsite since our newest flamingos joined the flock, and it SHOWED! Not just in the seamless delivery, but in the energy behind it too.

Because here at Strive we know that...
🦩Event days are intense. Long hours, high pressure, constant moving parts.
🦩It’s easy to forget the basics, like sitting down, drinking some water, and eating something that isn’t a snack bar.

That’s why we look out for each other. Always.

Every conference we deliver matters.
This one especially ⬇️

In April, we delivered a conference for 4,000+ people. We do this event every year, but this one was even more important, and let me tell you why.

💜 A new brand launch
🤫 A new brand ambassador
🎉 An audience that needed to feel it, not just hear it.

We leaned into the challenge, revealing new merchandise and a house ‘Brand House’ that allowed attendees to explore everything new the company had to offer in an immersive home environment.

And then, of course, there was the VIP brand ambassador reveal, which was just as brilliant as the woman herself, Cat Deeley 🥳

All of that, and we haven’t even touched on the other main stage content, breakout sessions or evening party incentive... maybe another post is necessary.

Let’s be honest… most kick-offs feel like something to sit through.
No this one ⬇️

Last week, we delivered an experience that didn’t just update the business…
It brought people into it.

Guests arrived to an interactive expo, exploring the projects they’d spent the last 12 months building. A chance to step back, reflect, and actually see the impact of their work in one immersive space.

After key company updates, they were surprised with an afternoon tea and awards show.
Celebrating standout moments, recognising peers, and raising a glass of champagne together 🥂

And then… a garden party to close 🌸

Cocktails, games, and a live string trio easing everyone into the evening 🎻🎶

At Strive, we know a kick-off is your jumping-off point, shaping the entire year ahead.

So it shouldn’t feel like something to sit through!
It should feel like something to be part of.
