Marketing Wrens Ltd When I started my sales career over twenty years ago working for Corporate Companies, I thought it was going to be hard to achieve monthly targets.

It involved lots of cold calling, all day, every day. I loved cold calling because I'm a people person and I met new people each week, and over the months I got to know them very well. I learned

I was building relationships as I was going along and became familiar with my clients and when that happened the sales started coming to me. Eventually, I left my full-time employment because I had always wanted to start my own business which came in the form of children's bedroom furniture which I sold on eBay. Although most people liked my products, I realised they were not interested in buying from me right away. Orders continued to grow slowly but I still wasn't making the income I needed to break even. This was disappointing considering the amount of time I was putting in each week. I knew I needed more sales conversions to fill in the gaps on the days where there were no sales, but the hundred hours I was putting in was taking me away from my family, it was exhausting and in the end, I decided to close it down.
