The Royal Family of Asante/Ashanti and of Juaben/Dwaben are all of one Royal Blood and are descended from a common Womb, that of the Royal Oyoko Ancestress Nana Aberewa Ampem (daughter of Nana Adifa).
The Royal Family of Dwaben and New Dwaben who can ascend unto the Yiadom and Hwedie Great Stool and even the Golden Stool of Asante comprises of 3 Houses. They are:
Mpampama or Mpampamma: The Eldest Royal House of Juaben/Dwaben. They are not only the eldest but also the Custodians of the Abusuakuruwa, The Royal Family Pot, Cup or Chalice.
Duwaa: The 2nd Born's or intermediates.
Akua Sarpomaa or Akua Boatemaa Mansa: The 3rd Born's or Kaakyires, lastborns. Akua Sarpomaa gave birth to Akua Boatemaa Mansa. The current Rulers of New and Old Dwaben, come from this House.
