Being the founder of an organisation is challenging. I’m not perfect, but I do try to get it right.

Leadership isn’t about position; it’s about function.

That means:
• Defining the task – being clear about what needs doing
• Planning – thinking ahead, not reacting
• Briefing – setting expectations
• Controlling – checking progress without micromanaging
• Supporting – remembering people are human
• Informing – communicating honestly
• Reviewing – learning and improving

Truth: most leadership problems happen when one of these is missing.

For ten years, The Eden Jar has delivered powerful community events that give people a true platform to share their stories.

Rise Together celebrates their Write to Heal and Women’s Empowerment Group and the launch of their new anthology, capturing the women’s defining life chapters.
