How do we adapt to the AI era without losing the human advantage?

The hosts and moderators, Susanna Toth Lee and Andrew Samu, and to the outstanding speakers for sharing interesting and diverse insight, and a real strategic perspective:

🎤 Emma Heley & Danielle Zhu (Thinking Hat Media) explored how AI is reshaping media, communications, and reputation management. While AI is transforming the communications landscape once again, trust still remains the true differentiator.

As they powerfully reminded us:
→ AI is accessible to everyone, so now what matters is how you use it
→ The future belongs to organisations that are human-led, trust-driven, and AI-enabled
→ No matter how advanced technology becomes, we must never lose the human touch

🎤 Professor Yu Xiong CEng FAcSS delivered a compelling perspective on moving “From AI Hype to Business Value.”

Some standout insights included:
→ “AI is not a tool, it’s a baby tiger we need to tame.”
→ The real divide is AI adaptation
→ AI hype does not automatically create business value
→ AI should not deskill the organisation; it should raise the level of human work
→ Trust and governance are becoming competitive advantages in scalable AI adoption

Perhaps the most important takeaway of the afternoon was this:
The future is not human versus machine; it is adaptive humans working alongside accountable machines. Read the article in the comment...

The AI era is here. The question is no longer whether businesses should adapt, but how quickly they can do so responsibly, strategically, and with trust at the centre.
