A list of seven different proven methods that you can do today to make a difference to your loved ones Instagram business profile - absolutely free!

1 - Turn on notifications for their posts
⠀
Get a simple alert when your friend posts something new to their Instagram business account. To turn on notifications for someone’s posts, head to one of their Instagram photos, tap the three dots in the upper right corner and hit “Turn on Post Notifications”

2 - Engage within the first 10 minutes
⠀
If you can, comment, like or share your friend’s content within the first ten minutes that it’s posted. If you can’t make it within ten minutes — because you know, you have a life and stuff, then still engage as soon as you see the post, it all helps.

3 - Comment with four or more words
⠀
Try to leave a dynamic, meaningful comment that includes four or more real words. That does not include emojis or acronyms like “LOL”

4 - Reshare their posts to your IG Stories
⠀
With just two taps you can help your friend’s IG business content reach an even larger audience. To share a post to your Instagram stories, tap the paper plane icon under the image and click “add post to your story”.

5 - Tell your friends about their profile
⠀
Your friend may be interested in your friends content and just not know about it let them know that you love your friends profile!

6 - Save their posts
⠀
The more people that save your friends posts, the more the Instagram algorithm with show the posts to other people!

7 - Watch their stories
⠀
Let them know they aren’t talking to themselves 🤣! Plus... once again, story views will contribute towards making them more visible!

Last week was content week on my 8 week Ignite Instagram course, it’s jam packed with ways that you can use content to position yourself to actually get sales / bookings!

People seem to busy themselves on the wrong things, making sure they have three photos in a row on their IG feed, buying the latest gadgets / products or spending thousands on paid photo shoots, or hours on collaborations!

One of the biggest things to remember is that people are looking for solutions to a problem, if you can portray that via your content... you will make sales or get those clients! 🥰

Do you know, when I was in a corporate job… my boss took me to one side and told me that maybe it would be a better idea for me to wear trousers more, and…less colour, so that I could be taken more seriously.

One day, my contract ended abruptly… and I spent the next 2 years basically travelling the world!
⠀
It was then that I had a kind of epiphany moment, I really did not want to go back to IT. I wanted to be in control of how far I progressed in my life professionally. I wanted to wear hot pink shoes to work and not be judged (actually, I mainly wear slippers now).

I started my makeup artistry journey with not much clue and even less expectations.
And it was scary, being plunged into the unknown… being taken from my warm and cozy 6 figure salary to trawling the streets of Essex with my rickety new makeup suitcase. But soon, with enough perseverance… being a makeup artist became pretty warm and cozy too.

Until last year. When I plunged myself back into the unknown with starting my coaching business. I actually sometimes forget that I have started a new business this year… I know it sounds weird, but it has been quite a natural transition.
⠀
There have been SO many times where I’ve wanted to give up, where people have shown me who they really are, where I’ve experienced rejection and felt like a failure, been hated on, but also where I’ve had the HIGHEST HIGHS when I see the results I have helped to achieve, and also… my own results.
⠀
It’s been a crazy rollercoaster. I’ve invested in myself loads this year, been busier than ever with my head down, learning, reinvesting, growing and providing value to my clients.

Anyway...just keep going, stop doubting yourself, be your own cheerleader, be authentic. You got this. ❤️
