Today’s audience craves authenticity and simplicity - that’s one way to achieve it. 🎯

As a solopreneur, your time is precious. The good news? You don’t need highly produced visuals to create engaging content.

People are leaning more towards raw, unfiltered formats that are easier and faster to consume. 💡

Here’s the key: while simplifying content, ensure it still aligns directly with your business goals. Every post should serve a purpose—whether it's sparking interest, driving consideration, or nudging towards a purchase.

Here are a few tips:

👉🏻 Be Real: Show your human side. Don’t be afraid to share what you believe in, if it’s unpopular opinion. Authenticity builds trust.

👉🏻 Stay Relevant: Your content should always tie back to your business objectives. Ask yourself: Does this post drive purpose? Does it tell my brand story and why/how I can serve my clients?

👉🏻 Repeat Yourself: Paraphrasing what you’ve previously said or highlighting a core idea carries IMMENSE value. It helps your message stick and helps your audience get a better feel of what you do.

Remember, your audience values connection over perfection. So, hit that record button, snap that photo, and share your unique story.

May has been B-U-S-Y! 😅

Among all my client commitments, I set some rather ambitious personal deadlines for myself.

I frequently discuss, with clients, the necessity of working IN and ON your business - otherwise you simply won’t grow. I had to set aside the time to give my business some well-deserved TLC.

Truth be told, it was touch-and-go on a few occasions but I’m SO proud it all came to fruition as planned. Feel free to share any feedback, I’m all ears. 🤓

You have to work ON your business or you'll never hit those long-term goals. 😳

I know, first hand, that's easier said than done. 🙃

As a solopreneurs and a small business owner you always have to play the balancing act. ⚖️

But that's where the magic happens and you scale results. 💫

You don't have to give the IN and and ON 50/50 every day. But you have to know every now and then, prioritise have to switch.

If you consistently work IN your business, you might as well be employed by someone and cash in all the benefits they offer. But you have bigger aspirations that this.

Make sure you carve the time to work and invest ON your business, if you want to experience that growth and live the life you envisage.

Chasing trends and algorithm hacks is so meh!

"Gurus" taking your money for trends and algorithm hacks courses is even more meh-meh.

Why?

👉🏻 No one. I repeat NO ONE. Has "the pill" that manipulates an algorithm. In fact, there isn't "an algorithm" it's algorithmS, that change RAPIDLY, depending on multiple factors. Especially the social media platforms' immediate business interests. (I'm going to park this here because I can talk on the topic for hours...)

👉🏻 You are putting all your eggs in one basket. You don't have a marketing strategy. You have sporadic promotional tactics. For one given platform.

👉🏻 You are NOT building a business, you are building a profile.

Instead, focus on understanding your audience and what their desires are.

It's that simple.

Speaking their language is when they will start buying from you. Not when you use the most trending audio...

With it, if we don’t adapt and improve our ways of working - we will fall behind.

The content pillars were an effective way to prompt creativity and plan ahead.

BUT as the space is getting sooooo saturated with more of the same, you have to step up your game. 💪🏻

This 3-step approach is way simpler and has profitability front of mind.

More importantly, it allows more room for you to be your authentic self - the golden ticket to winning new business.

Before I do ANY work with a client, we always define their goals FIRST. 📝

Setting your business goals could be very daunting OR super exhilarating.

But from experience, solopreneurs mostly avoid it, go with the flow or have vague goals in place. 😩

Unknowingly most things we do daily are, in fact, based on some sort of a goal.

Say you want to make spaghetti bolognese - that’s the goal. 🍝

👉🏻 You came up with the idea
👉🏻 You found/know the recipe
👉🏻 You check which ingredients you have at home
👉🏻 You made a shopping list
👉🏻 You went to the supermarket to get the ingredients
👉🏻 You cooked it step-by-step
👉🏻 BOOM! Spag Bol on your plate. RESULT 😋

The same thing happens in your business.

Your big goal should be your annual income. 💰

Then you need to plan all steps you need to implement to get there. 💡

Sure, you can tweak things as you go along.

But the final result should always be front of mind.

This is the winning formula. 🚀

Goals give you dopamine that quickly wears off. 🙃

This is why many solopreneurs don’t hit them. ❌

They are big. Exciting. Ambitious.

But it seems like we’ve bitten off more than we can chew by the time it’s March/April. So we give up and go with the flow.

IF you take your goal, then break that down into a smaller, digestible chunks you are more likely to achieve it. You have a road map. ✅

So if you want to hit £100K this year. Don’t leave your goal at £100K.

Break that down into all the things/habits you need to implement in order to hit that goal.

TIP: break that down into what you need to do or achieve quarterly. Then break that down into monthly milestones. 🗓
