Q is for Quotes 💰
Not the motivational kind...The IT kind.
If you've ever got a quote from an IT company and had absolutely no idea whether it was good value or not, you're not alone. It's one of the most common frustrations we hear from businesses shopping around.
IT pricing can feel deliberately opaque. Per user, per device, per site, per month, setup fees, licensing on top, support tiers that are hard to compare... it's a lot.
A few things worth looking out for when you're reviewing an IT quote:
→ Is support actually included, or is it billed per hour when something goes wrong?
→ Does the price include licences, or are those extra?
→ What's the contract length and what are the exit terms?
→ Is security bundled in, or is that a separate conversation later?
→ Who actually picks up the phone - a local engineer or an offshore helpdesk?
The cheapest quote isn't always the worst option. But it's rarely the full picture either.
We're always happy to have a transparent conversation about pricing - no jargon, no hidden extras, no pressure. Just a straight answer about what you'd get and what it costs.
