We are looking to hire a Service/Breakdown engineer who covers Intruder, CCTV, Access control & Fire (but not essential) to come and join our team at Essex Security Services.

Are you having trouble with your radio keyfob for your alarm? If your service is due, be sure to flag this up to your engineer who will then be able to carry out a full test at the same time as your pre-planned maintenance.

When leaving your home, it's worth checking that all windows are closed as well as the doors on your alarm. If you have a movement detector covering the top of your stairs, it's possible that a gust of wind could move the curtains and set the alarm off resulting in a false activation.

Texecom Ltd have decided to make the mobile apps supporting the use of their systems free to end users. The Keypad app and Remote app, both of which were previously paid apps on both Google Play and the iTunes Store; are now free of charge to download. If you wish to make use of these apps with your Texecom alarm, your system will need additional works carrying out - give us a call on 0800 731 0455 - and we'll discuss whats involved.

BT currently have service issues affecting our ability to call certain mobile numbers. If you receive a call, but only hear an echo of yourself on the call, this is the issue.
