Thanks again to our amazingly talent music psychologist Dr for underpinning valuable insights into the relationship between music and sales.

Does music really increase sales? The short answer is ‘yes’. Here's some reason's why:

1. Make us feel more positive

- Music enriches our body and mind states, making it more likely we will reflect positively on our circumstances and environment.
- Music absorbs time, replicating the psychologically desirable sense of flow. Nobody enjoys clock watching or boredom.
Music stabilises mood and alertness.

2. Make the environment more positive

- The external influencers. These modify the appearance of our space and our evaluations of the underlying agents, including the musician and the brand.
- Music aestheticizes spaces, it beautifies our world by extension.
Great music becomes associated with a positive image, which helps build loyalty. This emotion-based concept goes from ‘I like being in their spaces, they make me feel good’ to ‘I want to spend my time and money there’.

Ultimately, whilst there are some basic truths in the music and sales relationship, getting it right for each individual space is about far more than simple metrics like speed, volume, or genre. Curated, personalised music that reflects brand identity and aspirations is a solid investment that will boost both consumer interaction and loyalty.

🎼 Did you know music can literally heal your heart?

A study of music behaviour during a 16th Century outbreak of plague in Italy revealed that listening to positive, relaxing music was recommended by the medical experts of the day. A quote from the Renaissance doctor Niccolo Massa in 1540 stated:

Many people, from fear and imagination alone, have fallen to pestilential fever; therefore, it is necessary to be joyful… It is especially advantageous to listen to songs and lovely instrumental music, and to play now and then, and to sing with a quiet voice…

Few things in life comfort us as quickly or as effectively as well-chosen music. It triggers key emotion centres in the brain that are active when we experience happiness, feel rewarded and are content.

It can also have a calming effect on the core, ancient areas of the brain that control our physical relaxation levels, including our breathing and blood pressure. There are no doubts about the power of music to have a positive impact on our bodies.

As Plato once said - “Musical innovation is full of danger to the State, for when modes of music change, the fundamental laws of the State always change with them."

Being open to new narratives and styles of music, and how those changes came about is magical. Music can be the driver for change, and open up the door for wider audiences to grasp ideas that they were resistant to before.

I highly recommend listening to album "Music for Psychedelic Therapy”, to open the mind to new ideas, helping the brain to find new rhythms, even when the music isn't rhythmical at all. That's truly powerful music.

V is creating a new segment in the restaurant industry and wants to establish leadership in it. It marks the birth of Fast-Fine-Social, an all-day experience where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighborhood with vibrant, welcoming spaces, proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value.
