Three quite different things have been keeping us busy this month – but all have a practical impact for our clients.

📧 Microsoft mailbox capacity - Microsoft is increasing mailbox storage from 50GB to 100GB for eligible Microsoft 365 Business users. We’ve been looking at what this means for our clients, including whether some may no longer need additional storage add-ons they’re currently paying for.

🔎 Vulnerability management - we’ve been taking a closer look at how we identify security weaknesses that can fall outside routine patching and updates. With cyber criminals increasingly using AI to find and exploit vulnerabilities more quickly, this is becoming an important extra layer of protection.

🛡️ Cyber Essentials - the latest requirements place greater emphasis on areas including MFA, cloud services and timely security updates. We’ve been working with clients to make sure their security measures stand up in practice, rather than simply ticking the boxes for certification.
