As the business owner, you need to be focusing on the tasks that will move your business forward, like making sales calls or writing your next blog or submitting a proposal. Anything on your to-do list that is not helping you move the needle forward can be outsourced to someone who can either do it better than you or quicker than you!

Consider outsourcing those tasks that you are not very good at or don't like doing so you can focus on the jobs that best use your expertise to grow your business.

I LOVE me a To-Do list ... it's one of my favourite things to do at the start of my day (whether for work or personal chores).... but I also love this idea of a No-To-Do list.

I have to especially remember number 4! Being in social media I'm interacting in the various platforms regularly, but have to catch myself I don't go down the Instagram Reels rabbit hole, once I start scrolling it's hard to stop!!!

How to use Social Media to work for you....

1) Don't use jargon, keep it simple unless you are confident that people will understand it.

2) Give people a reason to engage, and make it easy for them to do that. Only use one call to action. Try to spark an emotional reaction.

3) Use a scroll stopping image, but don't overthink it and let that stop you from posting.

4) Don't tackle too much in one post and don't assume that people have seen your previous posts.

5) Don't worry that someone else has already posted it. This is very little new information out there!

It's the weekend... YAAAAAAYYYY!!!

Sometimes as a freelancer or a small business owner it's hard to distinguish between the weekend and weekdays - you are so invested in your business that it is hard to step away... BUT step away you must!

It's important to look after yourself, take a break and really switch off. Look after your mental health, no one else will!

It's called Social Media for a reason, so be social!
You need to be active on your socials to grow your following on your social media accounts. This means liking, commenting, reposting and generally sharing the love with your followers ❤️.

Build it into your daily routine and as part of your social media strategy, try to login in 3 times a day - morning, afternoon and evening to spend 10-15 minutes doing all of those things, but be genuine only like/comment/repost content you actually enjoy and like.

Connect with your followers and those you follow to build those relationships.
